From my experience, applying to competitions is good practice to help writing a business plan. During my time at Fibixio, we applied to several competitions during our first few months. Despite not winning every competition we entered, the experience of thinking about tough questions on your business and the feedback we received from the judges was really valuable for us. So applying to a competition is always a good experience.
