For many years there has been a demand to have Wi-Fi connection available in Fitness First gyms. As a Fitness First member myself, I have definitely found it frustrating not to have internet connection when I am at the gym, as I do enjoy streaming music while I am there. EE have given Fitness First to solve this problem by providing free Wi-Fi for Fitness First Clubs. The full range of cover EE provide is show in the video above.
Since going into partnership with EE, over 10,000 members are sign up to the Wi-Fi and the results are speaking for themselves. Allowing members to have free Wi-Fi access, means that they stay longer in the clubs, not just to train but to enjoy a coffee or a cold drink at the bar. For this reason the free Wi-Fi is a huge business benefit.
Fitness First have over a thousand members a day going to their clubs, and they use the Wi-Fi for a number of different things, from catch up TV through streaming music.
